Exiles - Old Wounds, New Battles

Story

The exiles wind up at the trial of Jean grey/Phoenix. I liked the story even tho the stories in exile arent as they appeared i do appreciate the chance they give me to "catch up" with some of the marvel universe history so i can learn a bit of what came before. Regardless of tht i enjoyed it for what it wasm as with the last arc the character condlict with having to kill someone they loved/respected adde depth to the story although i hope the series doesnt rely on this for every arc as it may get old.

Artwork
I enjoyed the birght colours! What can i say i perfer the old school x-men costumes more then to the new leather Jackets. Sue me but i like Wolverines yellow and blue costume. was cool to see.

Characters and Dialouge
Starting to get a semse for the characters now. I quite liked mimic in this arc thought he came into his own. Morph is good for his added humour and to make sure things dont get too dark. Initially i woud have liked to have seen more of the original xmen in this arc, but thinking about this it isnt their story its the exiles story so if i have a critcism now its that there was too much wolverine he's cool and all but this isnt his book.

New X-Men - Germ Free Generation

Story

A continuation of the U-Men story and the E is for Extinions arc with the u-men story being closed off but the cassandra nova story just starting to heat up! Over all once i again i found the story to be enjoyable i think i enjoyed the cassandra nova story more. Seemed more imporant to me and the u men where just an annoyance geting in the way of the bigger story, I do understand the motives for the u-men. If people around me were gaining cool super powers then id want in on it too. As in I wouldnt want Koff being able to read my mind unless i could defend myself in some sort of way! All in all tho i thought a solid efford and i look forward to reading more about the cassandra nova character!

Artwork
Again solid without me finding it spectacular. Especially after enjoying the exiles artwork so much this just felt a little bit too dark with nothing really jumping out at me.

Characters + Dialouge
Again i think another solid effort character wise. I liked the moments between Jean Grey and wolverine and also thought we got a of how hard it is for Beast looking the way he does with him losing his date and then being Ridiculked by Prof - x/Nova. If i have a complaint it might be that if i had taken over prof-x's body i dont think i would let it be kown until my victory was complete. Her attack Beast in the was she did only really serves the purpose of letting the team onto her probably just in a nick of time.
