Story
Different characters from alternating timelines come together to help repair the damaged strands of time! I found the story to be quite ebtertaining and fun. The time lines issue i felt was explained simply and cleanly which was good. It would have been very easy for it all to become too confusing. The posabilities are endless with this kind of set up as we saw with the reversal of roles of Professor X and magneto. Only thing i will say as a nub i am unfamiliar with the significance of the trial of phoenix

Artwork
I think so far these 2 issues have had my favourite artwork. Bright and colourful a feast for my eyes!! Especiallly as we have just come off some of the new darker x-men arcs. I also felt it gave a good feel for the action and fight panels you felt like a battle was going on a little more then in previous arcs we've read.

Characters and dialoug
Over all i enjouyed all the characters even tho i wasnt familiar with any of them. I'm not sure if ill find morph annoying down the track but for now he seems fun. Magnus dying was unexpected. I was half expecting him to show up in the final panel or somthing but i think its good that they didnt bring him back as that would cheapen it. I thought it also brought out an interesting question with the role reversal of professior x and magneto. What makes a man the man he is? obviously years of imprisonment and tourture have driven prof x mad, but why in this universe was magneto not lining up with him? What had changed to make him take a softer stance in regards to humanity??
